Call the NEHA Hazard Hotline

If you see a suspicious or explosive item, do NOT touch it, move it or go near it. Move away, keep others back, and call the NEHA hazard hotline immediately.

Stop as soon as you notice the item.
Move away by the exact route you came in.
Warn and keep other people and animals back.
Remember or mark the location from a safe distance.
Report it immediately by phone or the form below.

Do not touch, pick up, kick or throw it.
Do not move it or try to make it safe.
Do not light a fire near it.
Do not take shortcuts through suspected areas.
Do not collect scrap metal from former battle areas.
